David Irving

CEO, SYNERGY

David Irving has over 24 years experience in the information technology sector with a particular emphasis on project management and team leadership.

As a founding Director of Synergy International in March 1992, David has been responsible for the company's Quality processes and was instrumental in gaining ISO 9001 accreditation in 1993.

A shrewd problem solver, David brings a unique blend of business acumen, practical industry experience, energy and enthusiasm to his work.

David has been CEO of Synergy since July 1998. In that time the company has grown from 55 staff with revenues of $6 million to 240 people with revenues of $27 million per annum. David is also a director of Ericsson Synergy, a joint venture between Ericsson and Synergy specialising in delivering mobile internet solutions to the market.

As a member of the Institute of Management Consultants, David is one of only a hundred or so Certified Management Consultants (CMC) in New Zealand. He is also a member of the Project Management Institute. David has recently been appointed a Director of the New Zealand Business Excellence Foundation.
