Mary Ann P. Wangemann is an EDS Fellow and director of strategy in EDS' Government business organization. The title EDS Fellow is awarded to the corporation's most innovative thought leaders in recognition of their exceptional achievements. Wangemann helps to develop enterprisewide initiatives that shape the future of EDS. Her Innovate address will discuss ways and means of creating an innovative culture within organisations.

She is recognized as a thought leader and is responsible for analysing emerging industry, business and technology trends to identify solutions that complement corporate direction.

Wangemann is a professor at the University of Virginia. She has developed and teaches 10 government contracting and business development courses in the classroom, through interactive distance learning, and over the Internet. She also has lectured for Fortune 500 companies, universities and government agencies.

An active EDS volunteer, Wangemann helped start a Daily Bread program to serve Loudoun County's homeless. In 2000, she was awarded the Outstanding Woman of Loudoun County for her work in business and professional development and the Blanche Witte Award for excellence in the field of contract management. In 1996, she earned the NCMA National Education Award.
