Nick is an intellectual property/commercial lawyer with considerable experience in a number of sectors including venture capital and innovation, high yield and niche businesses.

Nick provides a number of clients with a total package progressing from initial strategy formulation to global execution. He is very involved with the growing knowledge economy/innovation and new media environments. He advises clients on the full bundle of IP rights and is often involved in the enforcement of such rights.

Nick acts for a number of international IP associates in managing and developing IP portfolios in New Zealand for their clients. One key aspect of Nick's practice is that he operates on a global basis and is able to provide seamless linkages directly into leading international expertise such as The NASDAQ Stock Market, global investment banks, and key sector analysts.

Nick is the New Zealand correspondent for RadioWorld International and TV Technology and Production Asia/Pacific and provides regular articles for each. He is a Trustee of the newly established Marlborough Economic Development Trust and is active in various other organisations. He is a director of a number of private companies.
