Owen Griffiths is the Marketing Director of McIntosh Timber Laminates Ltd. McIntosh has been at the leading edge of Glulam development in New Zealand since its beginning in 1957.

Over the last 36 years the company has been extending the international market for its added value New Zealand pine structural Glulam. The export of raw unprocessed logs is seen as a poor return on a unique, renewable natural resource capable of much greater potential.

For three years Owen has been involved in expanding the awareness of Gluams potential as a prime structural design option. A commitment to design detail and quality in service and production has seen significant penetration into markets that have previously been dominated by steel and concrete.
