Incubator Development Manager, INDUSTRY NEW ZEALAND

Industry NZ's Incubator Development Manager, Peter Barrowclough, works to facilitate the establishment of business incubators in NZ. He promotes the sharing of resources amongst incubators, encourages international "best practice" in incubator management, improves the access of incubator managers and tenants to other government assistance programmes and provides financial assistance to incubators.

Peter was appointed to this position in May 2001.

Before joining Industry New Zealand, he worked for Crop and Food Research where he ran a business unit, whose responsibilities were technology commercialisation and licensing, and he also has entrepreneurial experience having previously started a company that exported NZ grown wasabi to Japan.
