Silk Road Adventures (NZ) Ltd are specialist niche market travel planners and eco-tourism operators. The company was established in 1995 to design and operate eco-tourism products in Central Asia. The tours span the length and breadth of the Silk Road with a network of associates built on personal friendship and a mutual belief in quality service.

The company is owned and operated by Pat and Murray Reedy who have had a long association with Central Asia. Pat and Murray are keen travellers who define their business philosophy as an approach to tourism that supports and reinforces the special character of Central Asia. They believe that fewer footprints and softer steps are preferable to the effect that mass tourism can have on people's lives, culture and environments.

They also practice what they preach. Each year SRA sponsors international volunteer village support projects in Pakistan. These projects aim to assist communities to plan for the development of sustainable tourism.
